Evening tea (and reject Christmas cake)

We've been ploughing our way through the reject Christmas cake, it's a tough job, but I only have one cake tin large enough - good excuse...? 

We've had a full-on weekend of decorating, trying to get the house in a little better shape.  Gone is all the bare plaster, the study has been painted; the kitchen painting is nearly finished (ceiling finished accompanied by the Strictly Come Dancing final on Saturday), and the eldest's bedroom is almost finished.  Feeling accomplished. 

Am also feeling accomplished about a project at work, that should have launched at work today, but unfortunately didn't - the person (at work) who needed to do one thing is not answering emails, works remotely and apparently cannot be contacted by phone.... However, the brilliant news is that after a term of so much stress, it's over and I can relax.
