The weather will be variable

Today we are forecast Tempête Fabien, though the morning has been sunny and gentle, with just a heavy, short shower to produce this odd light.

CarbBoy's Saturday Jujitsu gives me an hour and a half to kill in the shops, which was well spent this morning stocking up at the last market before Christmas.  Later, out into the garden for planting (of everything in pots that will be uprooted and split in the spring to populate the new garden borders) and digging out a path.  Powered by podcasts, I made decent enough progress.

It appears that 140kmph winds are coming, and even my insurance company has been in touch to make sure I know.  The shutters are locked, everything in the garden is tied down(ish).  Let's hope we have a roof tomorrow.
