Now that's what I call Christmas

From time to time, my childhood friend, David - now a professional singer and voice coach - comes up to Manchester to perform in various events at the Bridgewater Hall, which has led to me going to a number of shows that I might not, under ordinary circumstances, have attended.

I very much enjoyed seeing him perform (twice!) in Abba tribute shows and there was a surprisingly enjoyable evening of Latin music. Tonight was an evening of Christmas songs, which I was unsurprised to find myself looking forward to!

Prior to that, I had quite a busy day: morning coffee in Milnthorpe with my friend Rosie; a sort of business come network meeting at Revolución de Cuba; and then a late lunch at Schloss with Simon before we went over to meet the Minx at Bridgewater Hall.

The concert itself was really enjoyable being a combination of excellent musicians and singers along with a good choice of songs, and afterwards we went over the road for a couple of drinks with David, which was lovely; it's always so good to see him.
