Behind!

I'm so behind! Tomorrow I set off for Bristol for Christmas with my sister. The last few days have been manic trying to get everything done! I still have to pack my bags and Oscars and gather the presents!
I did get one present out of the way yesterday. I decided to give Gunther to Vegan Jo's son for Christmas if he wanted him. He asked lots of questions about his care and finally decided he would accept my gift! I shall miss him but with Oscar I'm not able to take him out of his tank for a wander and it has made me feel so guilty! He came round yesterday evening and collected him. I saw Vegan Jo today and she said he was absolutely enthralled with him! She'd being trying for ages to get him interested in something other than his computer! She said the introvert has found his perfect friend!
I also had a visit from Nellie of the Woods and then The exile and her partner who has come over from France for Christmas. There was a Solstice party at my neighbours The Reader that they all dropped into - I wanted to but just didn't have the time! But at least I walked with The Reader in the morning so we had a good catch up! Blimey what a sociable day! Just when I needed the time to everything sorted! I missed Colourful Mai too - found a card from her as I was saying goodbye to Nellie! I had a present for the Coop members son  as they are  doing my duties whilst I'm away - a knitted hen hat!  Mai was going to put it one of the food bins for him to find as a gift from the hens! This meant a walk round to hers later in the eve and the posting of cards thru various doors on the way. Wouldn't you know the heavens opened as I set out! Me and Oscar got soaked! 
Right back to gathering things - hopefully I will be able to blip from Bristol if I can find my old laptop to take with me! I'm sure my sister will have lots of blipable xmas decs! 
Oh and this is a bauble on my weeping willow (and a thankfully blurred selfie!) My neighbour hung some there and I love them! It's odd seeing our houses reversed - hers is the one with the pale blue door! The front of the house is more decorated than the inside! I have lights on my Bay tree which makes the house look festive - I didn't bother inside as I'm really not feeling  festive - hopefully when I'm at my sisters she will infect me with her abounding festive spirit!
