Ben Lomond

The one in Scotland would have been challenging enough but this one stands at 5,735 ft making it by far and away the highest mountain I have climbed. As you can see the view of the clouds was magnificent. I am now a cripple and a bit concerned as to how I will achieve climbing up to my bunk bed. Have come back to party city at the hostel and having to punch in door codes for people who are too inebriated to manage. Trying to find alternative accommodation for tomorrow but so far no joy, everywhere is busy or very expensive as they have 90,000 visitors in this city. So that’s my Christmas, just hoping to stay awake long enough to speak to the kids. Wishing you all the best for the festive season, have fun! X
