A Christmas rose

Still not sure what day of the week it is ;-)

Nice to see some weak sunshine again today
Out for a walk this morning...collected the papers, ah yes, the Sunday papers, which means Costa for an hour to read them of course!!!!

Called at the farm for some fresh eggs, a cauliflower & broccoli needed for dinner tomorrow, as we have visitors coming.

A quick wander in the garden when I got home to find todays blip. This white hellebore has a mass of flowers on it, most are pretty tatty to be honest, but luckily for me, this one new, almost pristine bud had recently opened :-)

Tonights dinner is going to be SW friendly, chicken breast in a sundried tomato & creamy sauce, made with phili light, herbs, chicken stock & onions.... with wholemeal pasta. I haven't made this before but sounds nice, a change from the recent heavy calorific food!
