Mad Dogs and.........!

Alan and I were due to meet Kate and Martin for brunch this morning, but unfortunately Martin's full of a cold, so we've postponed it until he's better.  Kate and I still met up though for a walk at Seaford, and it was such a beautiful morning it actually felt quite warm in the sun.  There were even people swimming in the sea as you can see here - they must be crazy!   We spent a lovely couple of hours walking along the seafront to splash point and back where we looked at the latest cliff collapse that had happened the other week. 

After lunch at home with Alan, we went out for another walk across the Tye to the bank in Peacehaven, and then back across the cliff top path and stopped at The Smugglers Rest for a drink.  In total I've walked about 7 miles and and over 18,000 steps and it feels great to be getting some exercise after all the Christmas indulgences!
