A slightly bigger bird....

… Than the one I was expecting. This one hove into view quite suddenly as I was poised awaiting the robin (who did show too). I don't know what he is eating ( or from whence it came) but it looks large!

I meant to say yesterday that I substituted honey for brown rice syrup (in a gorgeous recipe from 'East'). The flavours were divine even without the brown rice syrup. Fortunately we have been quite solitary since then, because when even a cuppa tastes of ginger and garlic you can only imagine you're probably channeling it quite substantially :-)

I'm off to do some ironing.
