Tracing

I've had this going round in my head for ages - a year or two even! 
I want to stitch some simple pictures of things I do or see daily.
This is a (somewhat flattering!) sketch and tracing of me taking Bella walkies.
Things never turn out the way I see them in my head so we'll see how it turns out.
The extras are the drawing and the embroidery frame. The main pic is the back of the sketch ready to trace onto the fabric. Fingers X'd!

It's been a bit wild on't canal today - even waves! So we just battened down the hatches and chilled. I asked Frank to nip to the shop to get me a newspaper. We haven't had one for weeks and I just felt like reading about what's going on in the world. I used to get the 'i'  but when I heard The Daily Mail had taken it over I stopped.  I thought I'd try The Guardian again (it used to be my regular weekend paper) I enjoyed reading it today and feel a bit more informed - though I'm careful not to believe everything I read! I just hope we don't get dragged into another stupid war :-(

I've been checking the Veganuary Facebook page and it's heartening to see hoe many are taking part for the animals. I think many will be pleasantly surprised at how easy and tasty it is. It also makes you feel so good!

 I must get on with my stitching project now!
