Coniston

A really grey day today so we just did the 3 mile round walk to Chapel Stile and back to through Elterwater via the high road and the common. Popped into the Coop in Chapel Stile for a few bits, I have put a blip in extra of my fave local shop. Established in 1884 and inside probably hasn't changed much since. I always chuckle at the blackboards outside and what other shop would have a mop and bucket as its window display, its brilliant !

Later we drove over to Brentwood Terrace, another favourite, for lunch. Then a stroll along the quiet east shore of Coniston where I tried a LE shot in the gloom.
