Cast a long shadow

That’s the way it is with some things in life. Illnesses for instance. You just have to let things take their natural course.

Felt out of it most of the day. Managed to get a few things done, including showing around a central heating engineer for an hour. Half our radiators are lukewarm and our valves are knackered. Seemed like a nice guy. I’m sure the quote for remedial work will run into thousands but that is the price you pay for comfort. 

The Dizzle continues to make slow and steady progress. Certainly eating well. But it feels like this winter may cast a long shadow too ...
