Waiting for the train!

Out to needles and natter this afternoon, the first time out of the house for a week. I was tired and could quite happily had a rest instead, but thought the change of company and scenery would be a better choice. B gave me a lift up in the car and then walked up with Amber to meet me for the walk home.

The level crossing lights were on red as we passed so we waited to see what type of train would pass. It was a long goods train. We are supposed to have new trains on the Lincoln to Sheffield route, but I haven’t had the opportunity to check out what’s running yet.

It is getting lighter in the late afternoon, but it was very cold today.
