Yard work

Perfect weather for some yard work today. I raked up more leaves and probably am finished with the raking except for one area. Earlier than usual.

I cleaned up some dead things that were in the flower beds. The mums I planted after the blooms died have all new growth!!! The photo here is the butterfly weed STILL blooming as well as a sage plant called Honey Melon. It has grown some in the past weeks and is full of buds and flowers.

I love the flowers but really want winter to return!
