Van Gogh..ing

My friend Melody and I went to the Columbia Museum of Art today to see Van Gogh and his inspirations. There were very few paintings by Van Gogh but many by painters who inspired him. Some I liked but some I was not impressed.

In the lobby there was a huge replica of his painting titled Bulb Fields where a nice lady took our photo! The original was hanging in the gallery.

We had a really good lunch together also! Melody told me that I know the best places to eat that she had never heard of before.

We saw an antique store in the area that is on the list for our next outing!
