Left behind

A bird slammed into the window and left this little feather behind. He wasn't hurt and flew off as soon as he hit the ground.

I wondered if the heavy rain distracted him or maybe the trees were reflected in the window so he thought that was the way. Or maybe he was following another bird and got off his path. Or maybe he was looking for something that wasn't really there. Anyway, he made a choice that was not good for him.

Maybe he will make better choices next time he is at the window.

Maybe he will see the truth instead of going along blindly.

Maybe his common bird sense and his heart will lead him on the real path.

Maybe he won't have hate for other birds whose chosen path is different from his.

Maybe he will choose the path of truth and Light.
