West Coast (Day 1708)

It has been a much better day weather wise. The woofer wander this morning didn't involve bracing against the wind, and there was no rain.
My head was still a bit fuzzy after yesterday and I spent the morning pootling around the house doing nothing much before lunch with my beautiful wife.
We took the woofers to Yesnaby where I was hoping for some big waves, but the sea was much calmer than expected. Sigyn found a rotting whale carcass to roll in, and encouraged Talisker to follow suit.
The walk along the west coast is still one of my favourites and despite the lack of big waves and the stink of dead whale, it was a good enough wander.
A considerable time was spent washing the dogs when we got home.
