Wet (Day 2057)

Yesterday's snow and ice disappeared overnight. The wind increased a fair bit along with the temperature and my drain clearing job in Stromness this morning was a bit of a chilly one in the wind.
When I had cleared the drain, I headed to the yard to get the van washed and visit the horses. Nice to bump into S & A there and get a b it of blether with them and  my beautiful wife.
Home for lunch as the rain arrived, then out to Lyde in full waterproofs. The rain went off as we walked, but the wind was strong enough to make any conversation pretty much impossible.
Home for an afternoon of various chores, with roast lamb for dinner as a reward.
