This morning

The sun tried so hard to break through the clouds at sunrise but they mostly covered it back up. I was lucky to happen to look out the window at this moment.  But after some clouds the sun and blue sky appeared for several hours.  More clouds and rain coming.  Did you ever think that every sunrise is new and different?  Think about it!

I went to see the Little Women movie today.  While I can’t say it was great I did enjoy it. The main problem I had was the ages of the girls from teens to seven years later. They did not age at all and neither did the other characters. The actor playing Laurie looked like a boy even when he was supposed to be in his mid twenties.   But it was an enjoyable movie.  The actress playing Jo was very good.  Worth the price of the ticket!

Yesterday when I got home from the museum, I had a text from a friend at my former workplace that the gang (I know who she meant!)  were going to go out after work to celebrate a birthday of another former coworker. So I joined them and had a great time laughing and catching up.  There were a few of the guys who worked with me also so it was great seeing them.  We have known each other since the early 80s.  They are my other family.  Photo in the extras.
