Camels at sunrise

Jordan day 6 - Sleeping in a Bedouin tent in January makes for a freezing cold night! For those who fancied an early start, there was an optional camel ride into the desert to watch the sunrise. I passed up the chance as my tin hip makes getting on and off a bit of a performance and I wasn't confident about the comfort levels in between! I've ridden camels before ( on several occasions) and so I did't feel that I was missing out. I did drag myself out in  time  for the return of the camel riders and to get some shots of the rather grumpy beasts (and the camels LoL)
We drove from Lawrence of Arabia country down to Aqaba on the Red Sea where we switched out thermals for sunscreen :-)
