A visitor

Watched this little wren and his buddy/girlfriend fluttering around the feeder, sitting on the swing,  and staring at the little nest box we have up in the rafters of the back porch.   We did see one of the birds fly into the box a few days ago but  it seems really early for nest building...unless they were just trying to get out of the cold.

It was a nice cool day outside with lots of sunshine so I finished up the last raking of the front yard.  Still have the big section of the side yard but it doesn't really have much grass so it will stay covered with leaves for a while.  

I spotted some shoots of my spring flowers pushing up in the flower beds.    Maybe the snowdrops.     Right on time as usual!
