Neumann’s Flash
We did not get out till mid afternoon - not much time (or light) for any decent images.
Northwich is a salt town. With big subsidence issues, a result of all that salt mining over the centuries. Thus all the flashes,
The hoped for starlings were not present. But good views of a kingfisher. And I loved seeing the flock of 60 plus curlews coming over Neumann’s Flash to roost by the side of the adjoining Ashton’s Flash,
And the walk was good. We’ll be back - there is a lot to explore here.
And - J is delighted. A missing, and much loved, 60th birthday present has turned up. In an apron pocket (extra)
