Maple in a back carry and peas up the nose
I suddenly got the urge to whip Maple around onto my back in the park and she loved it! I first put her in a back carry about a month ago, but felt much more confident with it this time. I hitched her up a little higher and she is that much taller that she can enjoy looking around everywhere :-) She'd been asleep most of the day and as she has been up in the night more than ever, I wanted to make sure she had enough awake time! My back carry theory worked: she managed to stay awake in the sling for about 30 minutes, (In comparison to the usual 30 seconds!). I loved feeling her breathing against my back..... surprisingly this is a lot more obvious in a back carry. It was also gorgeous to hear Maple cooing as she looked around and watched the twins playing in the park.
Oscar got a pea stuck up his nose today while enjoying his dinner. I was putting things away in the kitchen and suddenly heard him exclaim rather loudly, "Stuck, stuck, it's stuck!" Upon further investigation the pea was discovered. Thankfully, after a previous 'Sticker up the nose' incident, I knew how to deal with it. It was getting further and further up, so I told him to blow and tweezed it out.
We did some painting at home today using some of the art equipment Oscar and Bailee got for Christmas, We rent this place so I am glad it came out of the curtains....
