Fiddlers Ferry

Went out to get some fresh air this afternoon. Drove 15 minutes to get it!!! And then took photos of the massive power plant at Fiddlers Ferry. All seems a bit of a convuluted and ironic way to get some 'fresh' air and clear my head.

I've wanted to get a picture of this place for ages, but have usually been coming back from the cinema and the best vantage point is on the motorway bridge, which you can't stop on!!! So I went on a vantage point hunt. My timing was impeccable...I parked in a pub car park, just after Liverpool kicked Manchester United's arse, so there was lots of drunken chanting going on...

It wasn't scary - honest!

But I got my photo, got the wind whistling through my empty head, and came back feeling a tad sleepy.

Time to cook tea.
