thriving in one's niche

Needing to shake off the cold weather doldrums, I went for a hike with Laney and a friend today. It was good to be out, and the wind was not a factor, so I stayed warm enough. I thought the tall tree growing between the rocks was interesting, and then I noticed the shorter ones on the left side. This makes a good case for finding your niche in life so you can thrive!

On another note, I slipped on the icy trail and cracked the screen on my camera (as well as jammed my finger). The camera still works, so how important is the screen?
