Tomorrow is A Promise to no one

I went to work at 7 this morning.  I was in the office a good hour and a half before everyone else.   I got SO much done.

I did mean to come home early, but again, I wasn't in the door until after 6....

So after dinner - the exceptionally hot Parsnip soup from last night... hot hot hot hot. .... I suggested a walk.

We started on the beach, and then through the town, and then out through some of the residential area, before heading back to the beach.

Then we took a wee drive around a nice wee exclusive area of the town and giggled about how a "gated" community is being created in a space between two of the houses -  9 apartments and 18 parking spaces.

Then we took a looper, and drove up to the allotment.  I had a thing about hearing an owl.

There was not a soul around - not an owl either.  We sat for a moment, acclimatised ourselves to the dark, and then wandered over towards the allotment, and gazed in to the total darkness.

And then there were ducks, or geese  flying high above us, and squawking wildy.     A couple went past, and then some more - and then a big enough flock flew by, lower than the rest that we were able to make them out in the dark.

I stuck another couple of dark shots in Extras.
