Cool

The fog predicted yesterday evening, produced the lovely looking effect today. This was taken at 14:00 (2:00 pm for Brits). Despite the sun, the frost was not melting in the -2°C air which, despite everything, is too warm for these climatic conditions.

We are at 630m above sea level. Further up in the Alps, the temperature today has been up to +10°C. An "inversion" climatic condition, I believe.
