Troubled Bridge Over Water

This morning we took Fiddlesticks the two miles down to Skipton. There are two swing bridges to go through and the 2nd was being very awkward! Initially it was us and our next boat neighbours, Ted and Jackie. Frank and Jackie couldn't budge it.
It's a road bridge and they had to keep raising the barriers again and again to let the cars through as the traffic was building up. Jackie phoned Canal and River Trust who said they'd send someone out but after 2 hours nobody had shown up. Meanwhile two other boats came along wanting to go through the bridge. In the end a man from each boat - that was four of them - went to tackle the mechanism and between them and some brute force they managed to shift it. 
The Blips show a convoy of three boats coming through behind us.
