Today’s photograph shows my grandson Luis, since arriving from his home on the outskirts of Barcelona he has been working his way up the Crown Plaza management chain, doing a job he loves.

For Clare and I it was a ‘Pyjama Day’, or it should have been but I elected to head down town and pick up Clare’s prescription, or I would have had they been able to find it. Instead I drove home, collected Clare, dropped her off and then once she had what she needed came home.

A roast lamb hit the spot in the late afternoon before settling down in our chairs in front of a blazing fire to watch the last three episodes of Treadstone on Amazon Prime.
