Limiting Our Horizons
Along with millions of others we missed our 2020 holiday, all the planned breaks, rugby in Rome, family occasions and visits and any semblance of a social life.
So we have looked closer to home this coming year, following Rick Stein’s TV series on Cornwall, we have drawn up a list of places inside the county boundary to visit as well as things to do.
Some we have already been to but many, despite living here for twenty-five years +, I didn’t know existed. Most of them are ‘dog friendly’ in the hope that once this lockdown ends we may get to adopt a dog from the RSPCA. (Fingers Crossed)
There were lots of things we could have done today but with the weather reverting to the cold wind and rain we have become used to I opted to sit and read. Ploughing my way through James Haskell’s ‘What A Flanker’. Not the best rugby book I’ve read, although I’ll reserve judgement until I have finished it, but very funny in places.
