Wellington's hat

It's when I see the Duke of Wellington with his inevitable traffic cone hat that I know I'm home.

After a morning at work hearing about a new project to investigate Neolithic crannogs, I headed across to Glasgow. As usual I walked past the Duke of Wellington statue on my way through the city centre. And realised there was something different about his hat ....

Only in Glasgow. I do love this city.

This evening my mum and I went to the Transatlantic Sessions at Celtic Connections. It was a fantastic evening. We've been going to the Transatlantic Sessions for several years now and it was the best yet, I think. Altogether a fun night!
