The Umbrella and the Canoe

It stopped snowing. So went for a drive to West Kirkby and took afternoon tea in the Wro. It was lovely.

Walked back to the car and just saw this picture in front of me. Grab shot and in an ideal world I would have had a longer lens on for this, as this is quite a small crop from the full frame.

Still I like it all the same and I think it represents a snapshot of the good old British spirit as even at sub zero temperatures we take ourselves out for brisk and bracing walks by the sea and never let the weather spoil our pastimes.
