All her own work...

Our daughter is doing a project on Vikings and has to hand in a model of a 'Long House' by the end of this week. So lots of doing everything but build a model of a 'Long House' all last week, including watching How to Train Your Dragon which mostly definitely did not provide accurate research material into the social dynamics of Viking culture...

So today she finally realised she better get her skates on or she'll have to hand in the badly taped up cardboard box on which she had spent about 5 minutes' casual attention. We thought it may be character building for her to hand in her badly taped up cardboard box, but decided the humiliation may be too traumatic an experience. So I was volunteered to help out since I had boasted about my youth building model aircraft.

This beautifully taped up cardboard box is what Team-Dad-&-Daughter managed after a few hours' hard slog. We actually had a lot of fun making it, so if nothing else it was a great bit of bonding.
