This lunchtime I had the nearest experience to retail pampering, the aim of which was to find a pair of running shoes that wouldn't cripple my legs. I must have tried about 10 pairs, but it's amazing how different the various shoes felt. Of course, all new running shoes feel terrific for the first mile so we'll see how this pair behaves after a decent run.

There were bursts of sunlight today and I wanted to capture this busker with his shadow during one of those moments. Somehow it also looked better in monochrome.
