Monday: Old Town

We were all a bit pooped this morning.  We’ve been getting back to the hotel around 0200 but have then been up early to make the most of the day.  Pam and Joy headed to the Legislature this morning but we bailed as we’ve been before.

We met up on their return and headed to Old Town where we had as much of a walk as -36 will allow before having lunch at the ‘Bullock’s Bistro’ - rightly known for its excellent fish and chips.  It was a bit of a wait to get in but it was worth it.  

We then caught a cab back to the hotel, picked up our stuff and headed to the airport.  On the way back, Joy and Pam were upgraded, due to her huge amount of Air Canada miles, and they got us upgraded too so that ended our trip on a high.  

It’s been absolutely fantastic and, yet again, we’re reminded of how much you can fit in during a long weekend break.  It’s also our first time travelling with Pam and Joy - it was a great success with lots of laughs.
