Oh My...What a Sky!

I picked up our friends Steve and Cindy (and doggie Raven) at 3:30 p.m., with the idea of going to see the sun go down. And, go down it did! Yowsers, it put on quite a show.

The show took place at Ft. De Soto county park in St. Petersburg, Fl. After seeing a few ospreys nests, we hit the pier for the 'set.

In the Extras are an osprey leaving a palm tree with a fish tail, an egret leaving a light pole, and a freighter sailing off into the sunset. The freighter is dwarfing a tugboat.

The problem of seeing the giant orb go down? You get home late with a thousand pictures to look through, and all of a sudden...it is 4 minutes until midnight.
