Walking group supper

We had a good drive home, around 6 hours including a diversion for A14 / M11 roadworks.

I made a pudding for the walking group supper when we got back. There was no walk today - carol and Phil are not able to walk so we’d offered to do they walk as they still wanted to do the supper to keep in touch, but when we knew we were going to Dennis, and only 2 people wanted to walk, we cancelled. It seems more like a supper club nowadays, not a walking group.

There were 12 of us. Nobody expressed an interest in our 3 weeks in Southern Africa. We heard about one couple’s 10 days in the Maldives, another’s 3 days in Scotland and Chris’s month in NZ. The dynamics of all that is interesting.
