Montmartre Souvenir

A placemat!  One of four I bought last time I went to Paris.  No use leaving them in the drawers.  Souvenirs, too, should rise and shine!

Following up with news on the corona virus does make the day seem darker, though.  I am very aware of my own sensitivity to how these things come together, so I'm giving myself some slack.  We aren't making any serious travel plans until the news improves, and this might make me feel hemmed in, much as I also don't want to go anywhere anyway.

For a change, some sports -- the World All-Round Skating Championships are being held right now in Hamar and the Dutch are doing what they do best.
