We packed up our stuff checked out of our room which has been our home for the last seven nights and even Ros was sad to leave as it has been a lovely hotel.
We piled everything including Nelson into an Uber and made our way to The Residence which is to be our new home for the next two nights. We checked in early and fortunately our room was ready and waiting.
It is a boutique hotel with eclectic olde worlde furnishings. In essence it's three properties that have been joined into one so there are three swimming pools endless corridors and nooks and crannies which means that I have difficulty finding my way around. We spent the day lazing in the sunshine by the pool and enjoyed a pleasant evening meal. The hotel restaurant's pièce de la resistance after the meal was serving Belgianp chocolate truffles on a bed of steaming dry ice.
We ate the truffles with coffee and brandy in one of the cosy lounges.
