So proud

This little fellow was so proud of himself as he took the back-pack on our afternoon walk.  It didn't last very long, and the oldest then took over for quite a while. 

We went to explore Calke Abbey, not yet in love with the place, but there are some beautiful walks.  Sadly, the children's play area isn't up to much and not a patch on other National Trust places.  I think we've been spoilt though!  I told a not so little girl off in the play area, who was quite rude and twice told the youngest to get off something because she wanted to play on it.  This was fine until her mother came running over and I absolutely got the fear that some people might get very upset at their child being told off.  Thankfully, this lovely mother was not that way inclined and thanked me profusely - she seemed in the same ilk as me that it can be very useful to have someone else tell your child off. By the looks of it, the lady has quite a handful on her plate!
