Bloody Mary

Woke up feeling ever so slightly delicate today. White wine and baby-chat at the NCT get-together last night taking its toll. Totally worth it though, had a great night. Laughed a lot.

Thank goodness Audrey was in such a cute, lovely mood today. Anything else would have been hard to handle. As it was, she was delightful, the little treasure. Such a happy smiley baby all day.

We went to Chorlton Green Brasserie for breakfast with Emily our favourite French waitress (who it turns out I've been incorrectly calling Heidi for the past fortnight - cringe!)

Then did a Big Shop for the weekend (snow, the snow is coming...fill the cupboards etc. etc.) before Tess popped over with her one year old, Jack for a cuppa. Tess is also in PR and has recently moved back up to Manchester from London. We share lots of similar issues around the work life child balance and our PR background so it was good to offload and get to know her better.

Then it was onto the Lead Station for tea with my other two favourite Chorlton Mums, Laura and Kate and their boys. We went last Thursday and I do hope it turns into a regular thing. It's so nice to do the teatime feed somewhere else, really breaks up the week. We get to have a good catchup and gossip and Audrey seems to enjoy the social interaction too (see pic). I didn't have any wine tonight, couldn't face it. But I did slurp on a rather lovely (and restorative) Bloody Mary. Just the ticket it was too.
