Jitterbug

Audrey gave me a lie in this morning until 8.20am. Which is an all-time record. Sent the whole day into turmoil though as naps were all over the place. Meant that we missed the Friday library storytime slot as her morning nap was pushed back. Can't complain though. She really is a champion sleeper right now.

Had a day hanging out with her at home in the main. We went on a long walk to the Water Park and Audrey loved the swing (see pic). I enjoyed listening to some music while she slept too. Everyone won!

Then it was home to cook supper and prepare the guest room for my sister Laura who raced back through the snow and traffic, just in time for bathtime. Audrey was excited to see her and Laura remarked that she was like a little jitterbug, which just about sums her up at the moment.

Laura and I drank red wine on the sofa and watched My Week With Marilyn on DVD which was good but a bit 'thespy' in that nothing really happens. But it was a pretty film to watch.
