Scaffolding Nearly Down : Pollokshields Gurdwara

Another lovely day, the domes gleaming in the sunlight. With the scaffolding nearly down, the building is really emerging now.

The third in my occasional series of Pollokshields Gurdwara.

I've been to a very interesting talk at the Camera Club tonight on the 1955 + 55 Project. A book of Glasgow street scenes was put together in 1955 by a number of Glasgow Camera Clubs. During 2010, the Queens Park Camera Club tried to replicate the images in the same locations, or very similar. Fascinating social and architectural history of Glasgow. Some places don't even exist anymore, others were almost the same.
