Another Juniper shield bug
Backblip
We are still in school, and rather wishing we weren't considering the risk.
I found another Juniper shield bug today and this one was most confiding and happily sat on a Lesser celandine flower to be photographed.
Sadly the little oval thing you can see near it;s head is an egg from a parasitic fly :-( so I am not sure how long it will survive - poor wee thing, I would have removed it if I could, but they are stuck very firmly and won't just rub off.
Grateful today for -
Local wildlife, a welcome distraction.
