High Force Waterfall.

A strange Mothers Day as we're all practising social distancing and it felt sad not yo be with my daughter and granddaughter . But we had a fabulous drive over from Lancashire across to Middleton in Teesdale and walked a little part of Pennine Way my husband knows well from previous more strenuous hikes....to High Force Waterfall, which was gushing and loud and fabulous. We'd packed a picnic of Heinz Tomato soup and cheese butties....delicious.
We'd been home an hour or so and opened some fizz on the patio whilst chicken roasting. ...and then a lovely surprise...my son in law, daughter and granddaughter turned up with cards and presents. We had giggles and waves and a good chat through the kitchen window! Just lovely to see them....see extra of Andrew, Katy and Amélie.
