Walking for Boris again

Not so far or so long today as we were expecting a delivery today "between 8am and 7pm". It arrived at 8.25pm. Driver tired and a bit perplexed, very apologetic for being so late, he had had a long day. I tried sympathy and understanding but difficult to sound convincing when shouting because I was standing so far away from him. I left him to shift a load of timber and damp proof membrane , please note still social distancing.
The timber and DPM is for the base of a summerhouse that we have had to delay as the steel mesh will not be delivered and there are serious doubts about the ready mix cement delivery. The replacement summerhouse project seems destined to be a long running story, its been going for almost a year already. It will be all the more appreciated when it finally arrives.
Lucy Luke and Chicken is still poorly, she seemed to revive a bit late afternoon so maybe she is recovering. The other three showed their displeasure at yesterdays dowsing in lice powder and fumigation of their coop by only laying one egg, and that one in the garden, not in the pen. Temperamental chickens, that's all I need
