living like common people
I wanna live like common people
I wanna do whatever common people do

Common people in Newport Pagnell do things like walk their dogs, ride their bikes, run, re-enact battles from the Civil War ..... take part in real ones during WW2 ..... whatever common people do.
Bury Field Common dates from 1276. It's an amazing place, just 5 minutes walk from where we now live. Freeholders of 100 properties in the town are known as Commoners and have historical rights of Common (grazing cattle and such like). These activities have now been curtailed on safety grounds in case less common people get trampled on.
As well as all the human/canine activity, Anniemay heard - and then pointed out to me - a skylark. We watched with fascination as it plunged to Earth, in to what we assume was a hidden nest. It's the first skylark I've seen for over 40 years.
If you look at the extra you'll see the church in the centre. Just below the clock is a brick building with a flat roof. That was the water tower from the old Taylors Mustard Factory, now converted into a lovely home belonging to one of our neighbours. Our house is next to it. We are just so lucky, living like common people.
