Playing Safe

I don't usually wear safety glasses when playing pickleball, and neither does anyone else -- except one guy who got hit in the eye once. True, we do hit the ball very hard, but it doesn't weigh very much -- although I must admit that I've had a few minor bruises. Nonetheless, I wasn't going to take any chances, three days after cataract surgery, so I wore my workshop safety glasses today.

I'm sure this is just a coincidence, but I had one of my best games ever.
