Small Talk

Ms. C, just three months old, had a lot to say to her mother as her diaper (nappy) was being changed -- this is just one of a series of eloquent expressions I caught in that short time period when I visited her family this afternoon.

Big brother M, age three-and-three-quarters, as he reminded me several times, was disappointed that I didn't have any jewels, but we had several excellent conversations about other topics.

C was born in the house that M and his parents moved into last spring, which I blipped on March 7, 2012. My visit today was to bring each of them a book to celebrate C's birth, as well as lemon chicken, green beans, and potatoes for their family to enjoy tonight, and most of all, to catch up with their mother, JK, who I last saw briefly in early October.

It was a wonderful visit, and I'm looking forward to seeing them again soon, next time with dad/husband MK as well!
