First coat

I have applied a very light coat of Ferrari Red to the 250 GTO. I think I should have applied rather more primer before this, as the paint is very easily damaged, and a few very fine scratch marks are showing, so a bit more sanding is needed. As I suspected, the colour looks a little lighter and less intense than what I think of as Ferrari red. SO some more work is needed before I go on to apply some more top coats. The acrylic paint also seems difficult to get a gloss finish, so I shall probably have to apply a final gloss varnish.
