Nice day

We had a very nice day today. The girls slept in (which is very unusual) and we didn't get out of bed until 8am. They both woke up in a cheerful mood and have played nicely with each other pretty much all day.

I got the puppet show thing out the garage and they enjoyed doing shows and chalking in it. Having a mother in law who buys far too many things at charity shops for the girls has its advantages whilst under lockdown! Many things destined to go back to the charity shop have been brought back into the house for fresh things to play with. They have loved playing with this today so maybe I will have to make room for it to stay.

John was at work all day and worked this evening too, covid has created lots of changes on his site which has increased his workload and he is working extremely hard. As he was working I also did a couple of hours work this evening to prepare for next week and I feel better for it.
